Hey Farofa, Corpo, Gabi, Gi, and all the magic that makes up this incredible collective I admire so much—thank you! I will never be too tired to express my gratitude. Thank you! What an honor, what a joy to be with you all and to talk about 1 tired piece. 

1 tired piece is my newest act of performative courage. I’ve spent years weaving theater and performance together, especially within the realm of political art, where the mode of production itself becomes a mode of creation. This interplay—production/creation, creation/production, production/creation—truly moves me. It moves me in writing the text of 1 tired piece, it moves me in the proposition of long-duration performances, where I can do multiple sessions in a row. This generates an immense and pulsating economic shift—an energy tremor that my body brings to the stage. 

This piece is rooted in an exploration of trembling corporeality, where words emerge through sweat. There is a lot of language in this dramaturgy, and a deep dream dreaming itself—the desire to spark a drive for life, for collective well-being. 

Bio:

Natasha Corbelino. Artist of the scene. Actress, performer, author, director, producer, researcher, curator. Activist. Master in Performing Arts/UFRJ with performative research on the Brazilian Constitution. Graduated in Acting/UniRio. Trained in classical ballet at the Maria Olenewa State School of Dance. White cis woman. 44 years old. Manager of Corbelino Cultural since 2004, where she has been in charge of the production of multiple projects, including all stages of the process, from the dramaturgy of the idea for the public notices to the tours. She is currently on stage with her own text, direction and production in 1 peça cansada. She has curated editions of A Cena da Cidade, Festival Pausa para Cena, Festival Midrash, Coletivona at Museu da Maré, Que legado and Que boca na cena?, the latter two (also conceived and produced by Corbelino) were nominated for the Shell RJ Award in the Innovation category in 2017 and 23, and co-curated MITsp's Olhares Críticos program with Leda Maria Martins in 2024. She has increasingly invested in performance as an engine for experimentation. She works with actions that want to illuminate memories, imagine futures and cause collective health. She believes in sharing modes of production as modes of creation, in Magic and in the Multitude.
